GAA President Jarlath Burns has wished the Camogie Association every success with their All-Ireland weekend and urged supporters from right across the Gaelic games family to throw their support behind the three Glen Dimplex finals by turning up at Croke Park on Sunday.
Six counties will feature in the eagerly anticipated triple header with Armagh and Cavan competing in the Premier Junior final, Antrim and Laois clashing in the Intermediate decider and defending champions Galway meeting Cork in what is a repeat of last year’s memorable senior clash.
This weekend brings the curtain down on four consecutive weekends of All-Ireland finals at Croke Park following the GAA’s hurling and football showcases and the LGFA’s finals last weekend.
The GAA President is encouraging Gaelic games' followers and members to attend Croke Park on Sunday.
He said: “The Camogie Association has worked hard in recent years to promote, market, and generally raise the profile of their games – something borne out by the attendance at their Thurles semi-final double header.
“At a time when our three organisations are working closer than ever, I wish all six competing counties every success in their efforts to bring All-Ireland silverware home.
“It would be fitting if the existing All-Ireland final record of 30,191 for Camogie finals day set in 2023 was surpassed this weekend and we all have a role to play by turning up and lending our support to these fantastic sporting spectacles.
“I wish everyone involved every success and look forward to another memorable gathering of Gaelic games followers, this time in support of Camogie.”
