Peter Keogh

Peter Keogh begins by discussing the history of the GAA in Kiltegan, the surrounding areas and Wicklow, in particular West Wicklow. He also talks about the general history of Kiltegan and, for example, talks about how the Economic War and Second World War affected the area. The history of the local club, St.Tegans, and its various formations as well as the successes and failures of the clubs are accounted for. Peter also recalls events linked to Gaelic sport such as getting the first football in Kiltegan and listening to one of the first matches he heard on the radio.
