Jonny Cooper

Jonny Cooper talks of attending Na Fianna as a child and playing football and hurling. He goes on to talk about his family involvement in the GAA going back to his grandfather. He discusses how the GAA has changed over the years. He speaks about playing in school and the importance of Na Fianna to the local community. Jonny then talks about the clubs main rivals. He goes on to talk about his pre-match preparations and his biggest achievement to date, captaining the Under 21 Dublin team to an All-Ireland win. He next talks about the best players he has met over the years. Next he discusses the celebrations and commiserations after a match. He next speaks about the discipline that he has gained through his involvement in the GAA. He goes on to discuss the Dublin county rivals. He speaks about the role of women in the club before turning his attention to other sports. He goes on to speak about the importance of the amateur status of the GAA. He talks about the disappointment of losing any match. Then having given some advice to young players he goes on to describe what his involvement in the GAA has meant to him over the years.
