Waterford SFC Final

STRADBALLY 1-15 THE NIRE 1-14

After Extra-Time

Shane Aherne delivered a man of the match performance as Stradbally shaded a tight battle with The Nire.

Early on Tom Barron and Ger Crowley traded goals, but The Nire were 1-8 to 1-5 ahead at the break.

It was similarly tight after the restart with extra-time required. Jack Mullaney and Robert Aherne fired over important points late on.

AIB Munster Club JFC Final

KNOCKNAGREE (CORK) 1-17 DROMID PEARSES (KERRY) 2-11

After Extra-Time

Knocknagree pulled clear in extra-time to win an absorbing Munster Final in Mallow.

Level at 0-13 to 2-7 at the end of normal time, Knocknagree finished well with Anthony O'Connor supplying the decisive goal.

Chris Farley and Gearoid Jackie O'Sullivan had bagged majors for Dromid Pearses, but Knocknagree responded impressively.

AIB Munster Club JHC Final

ARDMORE (WATERFORD) 3-11 BALLYBACON-GRANGE (TIPPERARY) 2-8

Seamus Prendergast struck 2-5 to steer Ardmore to Munster Junior glory at Mallow.

Ardmore finished the game with 12 men, but still were able to eke out a great victory against the Tipperary outfit.

Brendan Cummins buried a free for Ballybacon-Grange in the closing stages to narrow the gap, but Ardmore held out to secure a thrilling win.
