HURLING

It was a hugely satisfying Sunday afternoon for Kilmacud Crokes, who delivered a dynamic display to secure an important 4-18 to 0-16 Dublin SHC Group 2 win over Ballyboden St Enda's at Parnell Park.

A well regarded Craobh Chiarain outfit also recorded a victory proving too strong for Scoil Ui Chonaill.

In Group 1 St Vincent's and Lucan Sarsfields both enjoyed encouraging starts.
