Nominate your hard-working GAA club volunteer for an award

Is there a volunteer or a group of volunteers in your GAA Club that you believe are a little bit extra-special?

If so, you should nominate them for a Volunteer in Sport Award at this link - www.volunteersinsport.com.

The awards, which were last held in 2014, celebrate all that is good about the volunteers delivering sport in Ireland week in week out.

First held in 2007, the awards recognise coaches, managers, officials and administrators who give of their time to grow and develop amateur sports.

The GAA is Ireland’s largest sporting organisation in Ireland and one of the great amateur sporting organisations in the world.

It is built on the hard work of volunteers in every club in Ireland and around the world who go above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis to make their GAA club the centre of their community.

Every GAA club has a core of volunteers who work tirelessly in this way, so let’s recognise their efforts and get nominating!

The deadline for nominations is Friday the 29th of September, 2019.
