Nenagh Éire Óg's grounds will host a Tipperary-Limerick Legends hurling match this Saturday, September 7, in aid of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Sponsored by Bluebird Care, throw-in is at 5pm and tickets can be purchased via Eventbrite for adults with children admitted free of charge.
All money raised will go towards providing community services and advocacy supports in the Munster area and beyond.
It should be a hugely entertaining day with some legendary hurlers from both Tipperary and Limerick set to lace up their boots again.
2019 All-Ireland winning Tipperary manager, Liam Sheedy, will be joined on the Premier County team by the likes of Brendan Cummins, Michael Ryan, and Michael Cleary.
While leading Limerick’s charge will be Joe Quaid, Ciaran Carey, Gary Kirby, and Mike Nash.
The Liam MacCarthy Cup will be present on the day and also at an evening reception in the Abbey court Hotel afterwards for the players and their families as well as supporters from both counties.
There will be a Q&A with the players, an evening meal, a raffle, and live music.

This fundraising initiative is the brainchild of dementia advocates Kevin Quaid and Kathy Ryan.
Quaid, who is originally from Broadford in Limerick but now living in Cork was diagnosed with Lew Body Dementia in 2017 aged just 53 and has written a book titled ‘Lewy Body Dementia, Survival and Me’.
Ryan was diagnosed with Younger Onset Alzheimer’s in January 2014, also at the age of 53, and has done great work to break down the stigma of dementia.
