Trailing by 1-12 to 0-11, Anne's, prompted by Diarmuid O'Keeffe, responded after the restart.

The promising AJ Redmond bagged a goal for Rathnure before the break, but Anne's hit a major of their own midway through the second period courtesy of Darragh Furlong.

In the closing stages Rathnure's Shane Lawlor and Rory Higgins pinched goals, but Anne's held on to secure the spoils.
