Limerick 1-18 Waterford 1-14

Clare 0-20 Tipperary 0-20

Patrick Crotty's last gasp point earned Clare a 0-20 to 0-20 draw against Tipperary at Cusack Park.

Eddie Ryan had edged Tipperary ahead, but Clare responded with Crotty equalising at the death.

A high quality opening period with Tipperary departing 0-12 to 0-11 in front at half-time.

Stephen Ferncombe was sharp for Tipperary, while Eddie Ryan also contributed three points from play.

Niall O'Farrell and Crotty were excellent for Clare as the spoils were divided.

Limerick eventually overcame a Patrick Fitzgerald inspired Waterford at Fraher Field on a 1-18 to 1-14 scoreline.

The promising Fitzgerald ended the game with a 1-11 haul, but Limerick did enough to secure victory.

Con Hayes' first half goal helped to steer Limerick into a 1-9 to 0-10 interval advantage.

Patrick O'Donovan and Adam English landed scores for Limerick in the closing stages before Fitzgerald netted a late goal from a free.
