Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship Final

Sunday September 27

Shamrocks Ballyhale v Dicksboro, UPMC Nowlan Park, 2.30pm

Before Shamrocks embarked on a stunning run gathering two Kilkenny, Leinster, and AIB All Ireland titles, Dicksboro claimed county glory in 2017.

The proud Dicksboro club have returned to prominence in the past decade, but they know that Ballyhale remain the most prized scalp of the lot.

A gripping semi-final against James Stephens ultimately culminated in a Shamrocks success.

Stars are sprinkled throughout the field with TJ Reid and Colin Fennelly providing a potent attacking threat.

Galway Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final

Sunday September 27

Cappataggle v St Thomas', Kenny Park, 3pm

A Covid case ensured this fixture was postponed until Sunday.

Turloughmore await the winners in the final with Cappataggle eager to advance to the decider following three last four losses in 2017, 2018, and 2019 against Liam Mellows.

St Thomas', powered by the Burkes and Cooneys, have won two Championships in a row and remain a formidable outfit.

Clare Senior Hurling Championship Final

Sunday September 27

O'Callaghan's Mills v Sixmilebridge

It has been a remarkable stint for O'Callaghan's Mills, who have reached a first Clare SHC Final since 1993.

Having just avoided relegation last year, the Mills now are hoping to cause an upset against the holders.

Colin Crehan and Jacob Loughnane scored heavily in the win over Ballyea.

Sixmilebridge, though, are a crafty outfit well organised by Tim Crowe and Davy Fitzgerald.

Saturday September 26

Belmont v Kilcormac-Killoughey, Birr, 4.30pm

Sunday September 27

Birr v St Rynagh's, Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park, 4.30pm

A repeat of the 2019 decider between St Rynagh's and Birr should be lively.

Rynagh's prevailed by the narrowest of margins and it could be similarly tight once more.

Kilcormac-Killoughey have shown glimpses of their ability too, but they will afford Belmont the utmost of respect.

Wicklow Senior Hurling Championship Final
