Galway were the big losers after today's hugely dramatic final round of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship.

Their 3-19 to 0-24 defeat to Dublin combined with Wexford's 0-21 to 1-18 draw with Kilkenny meant that four teams finished on five points in the Leinster SHC.

But Galway's inferior scoring difference meant that they finished behind Kilkenny, Wexford, and Dublin.

Kilkenny and Wexford will contest the Leinster SHC Final while Dublin progress to the All-Ireland SHC Preliminary Quarter-Final where they will play either Laois or Westmeath.
