Dublin earned the point that was needed in Salthill to secure an Allianz Football League Final berth.
Monaghan's spring has been sprinkled with good results suffering only two defeats against Mayo and Galway.
Getting another spin out at GAA headquarters will help Monaghan prepare for their eagerly anticipated Ulster Championship showdown with Tyrone.
Dublin are back at the Jones Road venue next weekend for the decider against Galway so this will be an ideal audition.
