TG4 All Ireland Ladies Football Senior Championship Final

Dublin v Galway, Croke Park, 4pm

Dublin will start with 12 of the team which retained the All Ireland Championship at Croke Park in 2018.

Now going for a third title in a row Mick Bohan has recalled Noelle Healy to the starting XV for Sunday's interesting encounter against Galway.

Timmy Rabbitt has kept faith with the same XV that edged out Mayo at the semi-final stage.

It will be Galway's first senior decider in 14 years, but in that time significant work has been carried out in the underage ranks.

That is why Galway are keen to deliver a solid performance against a talented Dublin outfit, who have set a seriously high standard during the past two campaigns.

Nicole Owens' knee injury is a blow for Dublin, but Bohan's panel is sprinkled with accomplished performers, who have flourished at Croke Park.

The prolific Sinead Aherne and Caoimhe O'Connor netted the goals which ensured Dublin defeated Cork by 2-11 to 0-11 last month.

Carla Rowe and Niamh McEvoy were others who made vital impacts for Dublin against Cork.

Dublin's hard working defence also restricted Cork throughout that tussle with the losers only managing to register three points from play.

Roisin Leonard's ice cool free ensured Galway overcame Mayo's spirited challenge.

Mairead Seoighe excelled for Galway rifling home two crucial goals. Such efficiency must be demonstrated again when Galway face an accomplished Dublin in Sunday's showpiece.

Meath v Tipperary, Croke Park, 1.45pm

Tipperary blasted out a reminder of their considerable potential when storming to victory against Sligo at the semi-final stage.

Caoimhe Condon was sharp scoring 2-2, while the excellent Aisling McCarthy and Aishling Moloney were other influential figures for the blue and gold outfit.

The Premier County did most of the damage in that Sligo win during a first half in which they accumulated a healthy 3-10 to 1-2 advantage.

That is why Meath will be determined from the outset, but the Royals enter Croke Park armed with hope.

Meath, who lost the final to Tyrone in 2018, were far too strong for Roscommon last time out.

Emma Duggan, Orla Byrne, Fiona O'Neill, and Vicki Wall all plundered goals for Meath, who pulled clear after the restart.

Fermanagh v Louth Croke Park, 11.45am

Beaten finalists at this level a year ago, Louth, have impressed throughout the 2019 campaign.

In the All Ireland series Louth have impressed and will be especially eager to deliver at Croke Park.

Fermanagh, though, claimed the National League Division Four title and will believe that they can make an impact too.

Indeed, Fermanagh played at the Jones Road venue in 2017 so they will relish the opportunity to claim silverware once more.

Eimear Smyth was inspirational during the semi-final triumph over London at St Tiernach's Park.

Smyth struck nine points for Fermanagh, who survived a tricky finish to advance to the decider.

Kate Flood's 2-6 haul was important during Louth's emphatic success over Antrim in the penultimate round.
