Kerry’s Paudie Clifford, Mayo’s Matthew Ruane, and Galway’s Shane Walsh are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week

The voting process is simple: like their image on the GAA's official Instagram page.

Voting will close at 10am on Tuesday, July 27, and the winner will be announced on GAA.ie.

Paudie Clifford (Kerry)

The in-form Paudie Clifford ran the Cork defence ragged in the Munster SFC Final. He scored three classy points from play, set up Sean O’Shea’s goal, and was a central figure in high percentage of Kerry’s attacking manoeuvres.

Matthew Ruane (Mayo)

Mayo midfielder Matthew Ruane produced a huge display in Sunday’s Connacht Final victory over Galway. He scored 1-2 from play, and drove his time forward time and again with his athletic bursts from the middle of the park.

Shane Walsh (Galway)

It wasn’t Galway’s day in the Connacht Final, but Shane Walsh’s class still shone through. He showed great anticipation and finishing power to score Galway’s first goal, and then really got bums off seats with an electric burst of pace to create Damien Comer’s goal.
