Mayo’s Diarmuid O’Connor, Kerry’s Sean O’Shea, and Tyrone’s Darren McCurry are this week’s nominees for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

Diarmuid O’Connor (Mayo)

Diarmuid O’Connor’s relentless appetite for work was to the fore again in Mayo’s Allianz Football League Division 1 victory over Dublin on Saturday night. He scored two points from play, tackled with great tenacity, and processed a huge amount of ball.

Sean O’Shea (Kerry)

Sean O’Shea was the main man for Kerry in their convincing victory over Donegal. He scored seven points, one of which was an audaciously converted sideline kick.

Darren McCurry (Tyrone)

Darren McCurry’s class proved decisive in Tyrone’s win over Kildare. He scored 1-3 and provided the Red Hand County with a sharp cutting edge throughout the contest.
