*_Clifford was at his magical best for Kerry in Sunday’s Allianz Football League Division 1 Final win over Mayo. He scored 1-6, 1-5 of it from play, and terrorised the Mayo defence with his power, skill, and sublime finishing.
Paddy Lynch (Cavan)
Paddy Lynch was Cavan’s match-winner in their Allianz Football League Division 4 victory over Tipperary on Saturday. He scored 2-3, and those goals ultimately proved vital in a match of fine margins.
Paul Conroy (Galway)
Paul Conroy was sensational for Galway in their one-point Allianz Football League Division Two Final defeat to Roscommon. He powerful midfielder kicked six points from play from a variety of different angles and distances.
