Kerry’s David Clifford has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Fossa man received 7,114 votes on the GAA's Instagram page ahead of Tyrone's Paul Donaghy (1,616) and Clare's Eoin Cleary (1,543).

David Clifford (Kerry)

Kerry sharp-shooter, David Clifford, produced a ridiculously good performance for the Kingdom in their Allianz Football League Division 1 South victory over Galway on Saturday. He scored a total of 3-6, 3-4 of which was from play, and the soccer skills he showed for Kerry’s fourth goal of the afternoon were sublime.

Paul Donaghy (Tyrone)

It looks like Tyrone have found a potent new attacking weapon because Paul Donaghy shone on his senior debut in Saturday’s League defeat to Donegal. He kicked a total of 10 points, three of them from play, and played with uncommon maturity for someone so inexperienced at this level.

Eoin Cleary (Clare)

Clare captain Eoin Cleary led by example for the Banner County as they got their Allianz League Division 2 campaign off to an impressive start with a seven-point victory over Laois. The talented centre-forward kicked 10 points, three of them from play, over the course of the afternoon.

Players of the Week are decided based on votes cast by followers of the Official GAA Instagram page.
