McGrath Cup Semi-Finals

CORK 3-15 LIMERICK 0-7

CLARE 1-17 WATERFORD 1-6

Cork and Clare will contest another McGrath Cup Final.

Aided by a 10th minute Brian Hurley goal Cork eventually went in at the interval armed with a 1-6 to 0-6 lead against Limerick.

The first two scores in the third quarter were Paul Walsh and Ian Maguire goals as Cork cruised to victory.

Clare were always in control in Ballinacourty against Waterford as Conal O'hAinifein netted a first half goal.

Colm Collins' outfit dominated the opening period to lead by 1-8 to 0-2 at half-time with Gary Brennan and Gavin Cooney also effective.

After the restart Waterford battled, but the visitors were never seriously troubled.
