GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

1: John McGrath (Tipperary) – 6,753 votes

2: Rory O’Connor (Wexford) – 6,687 votes

3: Sean Moran (Cuala) – 4,686 votes

Under pressure following a brilliant start by Dublin in their Allianz Hurling League Quarter-Final, Tipperary responded strongly with John McGrath an instrumental figure.

McGrath struck 1-4 for Michael Ryan’s team and couldn’t be thwarted during an entertaining encounter at Croke Park.

Promising Wexford teenager Rory O’Connor rifled over crucial points and made a huge impact during his team’s impressive Allianz Hurling League Quarter-Final victory over Galway.

Sean Moran delivered when it mattered most during Cuala’s two epic games against Na Piarsaigh in the AIB All-Ireland Club SHC Quarter-Final.

In the drawn encounter Moran’s last gasp goal from a free forced extra-time and the Cuala centre back was immense in the replay again.
