Waterford GAA released a statement on Tuesday morning confirming that Tadhg de Burca and Barry Coughlan picked up serious injuries during Sunday's Munster Championship loss against Clare.

De Burca suffered a broken collar bone, while Coughlan fractured three bones in his left hand. Daragh Fives is also expected to miss the remainder of the provincial campaign with a calf problem.

"The Team Management and the medical team are currently assessing the situation regarding Noel Connors, who had to leave the field at half time with a back injury and Maurice Shanahan, who had to remain on the field although suffering with a groin issue along with the serious injuries acquired to Austin Gleeson and Pauric Mahony," the statement read.

"Waterford GAA would like to wish all our players a full and speedy recovery."

Kevin Moran, who was sent off in the Cusack Park encounter, will not be requesting a hearing on his proposed one match suspension.
