Sunday April 16

Ulster Senior Hurling Championship Final

Antrim v Armagh, Owenbeg, 2.30pm

Seeking a 16th Ulster title in a row Antrim will be expected to earn silverware at Owenbeg on Sunday.

Armagh, though, have made some strides in recent years returning to a provincial decider for the second successive year and they will be keen to examine the Saffrons.

Antrim did well to defeat Carlow in the Allianz Hurling League Division 2A Final at Pairc Esler on April 1.

Boosted by the return of Neil McManus to the inter-county fold Antrim won a competitive group.

Armagh lost four of their five matches at that level, while drawing with London at the Athletic Grounds.

In the 1-17 to 2-12 Ulster Semi-Final success over Down, Armagh finished strongly.

Cathal Carvill and Dylan McKenna impressed for Armagh, who have an injury doubt surrounding the influential Ryan Gaffney.

Antrim proved far too strong for Donegal at the penultimate stage with James McNaughton bagging a brace of goals and Maol Connolly sharp in attack.
