GAA.ie Hurler of the Week

**1: **Joe Canning (Galway) - 11,888 votes

**2: **Seamus Flanagan (Limerick) - 4,931 votes

3: Shane Barrett (Dublin) - 3,342 votes

Joe Canning was immense for Galway during Saturday's excellent win over Wexford in the sunny south east.

Portumna clubman Canning marked his 50th Championship appearance with a 0-12 haul including two sweet sideline cuts.

Following a hugely encouraging Allianz League campaign Seamus Flanagan delivered in style for Limerick in Saturday's Pairc Ui Chaoimh thriller against Cork.

Flanagan rifled over six points from play for John Kiely's evolving Limerick team, who secured a valuable draw down by the banks of the Lee.

Shane Barrett's long range striking was a feature of Dublin's important Leinster Championship victory over Offaly at Parnell Park on Sunday.

Wing backs Barrett and Chris Crummey inspired Pat Gilroy's charges to a victory which preserves their status in the Liam MacCarthy Cup for 2019.
