Dublin and Kilkenny earn Electric Ireland Leinster MHC wins

Dublin and Kilkenny will contest the Electric Ireland Leinster MHC Final on Sunday July 2 at Croke Park.

Sean Currie was in splendid scoring form as Dublin advanced to another provincial decider.

During a tight first half Currie struck seven points as Dublin departed 0-10 to 0-6 ahead at the break.

After the restart Dublin remained in the ascendancy, but a Jack Cullen goal gave Wexford some hope.

Dublin, though, closed out the deal effectively with Currie and David Keogh landing crucial points

Kilkenny proved far too strong for Laois emerging convincing victors.

The Cats lead at the interval by 1-8 to 0-6 following an early Adrian Mullen goals.

John Dowd, Sean Ryan, Niall Brassil and Daithi Barron were among Kilkenny's second half goalscorers.
