Prior to lunch on the final day of Congress 2010, Uachtarán Chumann Lúthcleas Gael, Criostóir Ó Cuana, delivered his address, which can be viewed here. The full text of the speech can also be accessed here.
A motion proposing that all games at U12 level and younger be organised on the ‘Go Games’ model was given an overwhelming endorsement by delegates at Congress on Saturday morning.
The ‘Go Games’ model, which is part of the Respect Initiative launched by the GAA in February, sees teams organised on an 11-a-side basis and ensures that all participants get to play in the full game. A video package of the ‘Go Games’ debate can be seen here.
Meanwhile on Friday night, the GAA’s plans to eradicate pitch invasions were given a ringing endorsement.
