All change for Banner as Morey and Kelly debut

Friday, July 06, 2012

The Clare team to play Dublin in Saturday’s All-Ireland Qualifier shows five changes from the side that lost to Waterford in the Munster semi-final.

Seadna Morey and Tony Kelly have been handed championship debuts by manager Davy Fitzgerald at midfield and wing-forward respectively.

Fergal Lynch, Seán Collins and Darach Honan have also been drafted in with James McInerney, Patrick O'Connor, Enda Barrett (injured), Paudge Collins and Colin Ryan all making way.

Dublin, meanwhile, will not announce their team until shortly before throw-in on Saturday evening because of concerns surrounding the fitness of Conal Keaney and Conor McCormack.

Clare (SH v Dublin): P Kelly; D O’Donovan, C Dillin, C Cooney; B Bugler, P Donnellan, N O’Connell; S Morey, S Collins; F Lynch, J Clancy, T Kelly; J Conlon, C McGrath, D Honan.
