Tipperary boss Liam Sheedy has named an unchanged team for Sunday’s GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship final clash with Kilkenny at Croke Park.
Sheedy has opted for the exact same starting XV that lined out in the 3-19 to 1-18 defeat of Waterford in the semi-final.
Seamus Callanan, a 50th minute replacement for Gearóid Ryan against the Déise, is again held in reserve. Pa Bourke, Tipp’s second sub the last day, also has to be content with a place on the bench.
The team contains five U21 players who will expect to be in action against Galway in the underage decider against Galway at Thurles on Saturday week.
The team also shows three changes from the one that lined out in the 2-22 to 0-23 defeat to the same opposition in last year’s epic decider.
James Woodlock, Callanan and Pat Kerwick are the three players to miss out this year.
Tipperary (SH v Kilkenny): B Cummins; P Stapleton, P Curran, M Cahill; D Fanning; C O’Mahony, Padraic Maher; B Maher, S McGrath; G Ryan, Patrick Maher, J O’Brien; N McGrath, E Kelly, L Corbett.
