Following the conclusion of the 2016 EirGrid GAA Football U21 All-Ireland Championship, voting is taking place to determine who is the EirGrid U21 Football Player of the Year.

EirGrid U21 Finalists Mayo and Cork are both in the running with Diarmuid O'Connor (Mayo) and Sean White (Cork) both nominated, while Dublin forward Con O'Callaghan is also nominated for Player of the Year.

The winner of the award shall be selected by the public with supporters given the opportunity to vote for their chosen player on the GAA's official Twitter account (@officialgaa) by retweeting specific #EirGridU21 messages, or by clicking LIKE on the image of one of the nominees on the GAA's official **Facebook **and **Instagram **pages.

Voting will close at 10pm on Thursday, May 26, with the winner to be announced in due course afterwards.
