Sunday March 25

Allianz Football League Division One

Dublin v Monaghan, Croke Park, 3pm

Dublin earned the point that was needed in Salthill to secure an Allianz Football League Final berth.

Monaghan's spring has been sprinkled with good results suffering only two defeats against Mayo and Galway.

Getting another spin out at GAA headquarters will help Monaghan prepare for their eagerly anticipated Ulster Championship showdown with Tyrone.

Dublin are back at the Jones Road venue next weekend for the decider against Galway so this will be an ideal audition.

MONAGHAN: Rory Beggan; Colin Walshe, Conor Boyle, Kieran Duffy; Barry Kerr, Drew Wylie, Karl O'Connell; Darren Hughes, Niall Kearns; Desie Ward, Dermot Malone, Ryan McAnespie; David Garland, Kieran Hughes, Conor McManus.

Donegal v Mayo, Ballybofey, 3pm

This winner survives battle will bring a bumper crowd to Ballybofey.

Mayo have recorded two successes on the road this spring and they need a draw or a win to preserve Division One status.

Donegal want to achieve the same objective, but only a victory will suffice for Declan Bonner's outfit.

There is a nice blend of youth and experience in the Donegal panel, but relegation would be a severe setback. It would be for Mayo too so the stakes are piled high in the north west.

Kildare v Galway, Newbridge, 3pm

This time last year in Division Two Kildare went to Pearse Stadium for the last game in the group.

Galway needed a result, Kildare had already secured their spot in the top flight.

Kevin Walsh's team have flourished securing 11 points from a possible 12, including a stirring draw against All Ireland champions Dublin.

Kildare have suffered six losses in a row and they will be eager to end that sequence in Newbridge.

Tyrone v Kerry, Omagh, 3pm

It has been a mixed League campaign for these two teams, who have identical records.

Kerry took satisfaction from the manner of their triumphs over Donegal and Mayo, especially.

Tyrone suffered a couple of early setbacks, but have won three of their last four matches which was sufficient to stay in Division One.

Allianz Football League Divsion Two

Roscommon v Cork, Dr Hyde Park, 3pm

With Ciarain Murtagh to the fore Roscommon edged nearer to promotion by beating Cavan.

Now Kevin McStay's team want to close the deal on home turf, but Cork are dangerous opposition.

Liam Kearns' lively collection of Tipperary footballers adapted quickly to Division Two and are well placed to claim a second successive promotion.

Cavan, though, can also earn a top two spot so this should be interesting.

Clare v Louth, Cusack Park, Ennis, 3pm

Gary Brennan and Jamie Malone prompted Clare to a splendid win at Pairc Ui Rinn.

It was another reminder of how far Colm Collins' team has travelled in a relatively short space of time.

Following successive promotions, Louth have been forced to deal with some tough injuries and defeats in Division Two.

Meath v Down, Pairc Tailteann, Navan, 3pm

Retaining Division Two status is the objective for Meath and Down.

That is why this game matters in Navan with Meath disappointed not to have built on a reasonable start to the competition.

Whoever loses this match will be in deep distress ahead of a difficult last match so a full blooded affair is expected at Pairc Tailteann.

Allianz Football League Division Three

Longford v Fermanagh, Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, 3pm

Promotion will be attained by the victor so an interesting encounter looms.

Despite missing some key players Longford did enough to beat neighbours Westmeath last week and Dennis Connerton's team are now nicely placed.

Fermanagh divided the spoils following an attritional contest against Armagh.

Rory Gallagher's team will know that Longford are dangerous opponents.

Sligo v Derry, Markievicz Park, 3pm

Considering the amount of emerging players in both panels Sligo and Derry will simply be content to retain Division Three status.

Sligo fought until the bitter end against Offaly on Monday as a late Niall Murphy score earned a point. That could prove to be a very important intervention.

Westmeath v Offaly, TEG Cusack Park, 3pm

When these midland neighbours collide it is worth monitoring.

Offaly can still avoid the drop so they will be gunning for a win and hope that results elsewhere are favourable.

Busy preparing for their early May Connacht Championship clash against Sligo, London will want to register a second win of the League.

Ciaran Deely's team has been highly competitive throughout the spring and will feel that another positive result can be posted.

Waterford have been competitive, but only one point is deposited in the Deise account. Tom McGlinchey will want to improve that in Waterford's remaining two fixtures.

Leitrim v Wicklow, Carrick-on-Shannon, 1pm

It has been a tough stint for Leitrim and Wicklow, two teams in transition, during the past few months.

Emlyn Mulligan's return for Leitrim is noteworthy and Brendan Guckian's outfit are hopeful about finishing the spring strongly.
