That triumph over Cork hinted at Tipperary's potential, but a loss to Roscommon and draw to Cavan ensures this match carries real importance.

Meath have also three points on the board and the Royals suffered a big setback at Kingspan Breffni. Andy McEntee will certainly be demanding a better display in Thurles.
