Munster Senior Football Championship Quarter-Final

Limerick v Clare, Gaelic Grounds, 7pm

For the fourth year in a row Limerick and Clare collide. The Banner have won the previous three encounters by a single point in 2017, three in 2016, and two in 2015.

That just shows Limerick, despite a disappointing few months in Allianz Football League Division Four, won't fear this encounter.

Clare dealt adequately with a high turnover of players by enjoying a solid spring in Division Three winning three and drawing two of their seven matches.

Colm Collins is an accomplished operator and will want to guide Clare into a provincial semi-final meeting against Kerry, who they frightened 12 months ago.

CLARE: Eamon Tubridy; Gordon Kelly, Cillian Brennan, Eoghan Collins; Pearse Lillis, Aaron Fitzgerald, Cian O'Dea; Gary Brennan, Cathal O'Connor; Kieran Malone, Eoin Cleary, Jamie Malone; Eibhin Courtney, Keelan Sexton, David Tubridy.
