Moorefield finished with a real flourish to overcome St Loman's, while Corofin shrugged off Castlebar Mitchels spirited resistance after extra-time.

After Christmas Corofin beat Fulham Irish in London and Kevin O'Brien's panel are well versed in dealing with these type of matches.

A promising Moorefield outfit, though, will feel that they can cause a surprise in Tullamore.
