St Brigid's 2-14 Padraig Pearses 2-7

St Brigid's returned to the summit of Roscommon football following a deserved win over Padraig Pearses at Kiltoom.

At the interval Brigid's led by 0-8 to 1-2 against a determined Padraig Pearses, who netted a goal courtesy of Sean Fahy.

In the 47th minute Hubert D'Arcy bagged a second major for Pearses, who drew level, but Brigid's finished strongly.

Ian Kilbride and Darragh Donnelly sealed the deal for Brigid's with two goals.

St Kiernan's caused a surprise in the London SFC decider at Greenford.

The underdogs produced a gritty display throughout to frustrate the holders, who trailed by 0-6 to 0-2 at half-time.

When the action recommenced Kieran's were similarly hard working and Tir Chonaill Gaels were beaten.
