Finance and Fundraising

Finance is a key component in a club. This 'Financial Matters in the Club' chapter discusses GAA development grants for clubs, tax exemptions, tax relief for donations and borrowing by GAA units. Topics on budgeting and accounts are discussed in the Club Treasurer chapter in the Club Officer Roles section of this manual.

This 'GAA Fundraising Toolkit' provides advice for clubs on setting up a fundraising unit (fundraising sub-committee) in the club, advice on planning and organising the activity as well as a fundraising ideas. This section will be updated to include case studies from clubs on various fundraising events/initiatives that they have undertaken.
